It is with great sadness that the family of Rita Galié D’Antonio announces her passing, on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at the age of 78 years old. Rita was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She always took great care of her family, especially by making sure they never left the house hungry. Her family will forever remember her amazing lasagna and stuffed olives. Rita will be lovingly remembered by her children, Giorgio, Rosanna (Nick), Patrizia, and Francesco (Mary), along with her brother Filippo. Rita will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Alessio, Pasqualino (Jessica), Vanessa, Jennifer, Anthony, Michael, and Chiara, as well as her great grandchildren Elyssia, Alessio, Luciano, and Adriano. A Funeral Service in memory of Rita will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Consolata Church, 1700 Jean-Talon Street East, Montreal, QC, H2E 1T2 with Father Frank. The placing of the urn in the columbarium will take place at Le Repos Saint-François D’Assise at a later time.
