RIMER Waldemar “Wally September 7 2020

Wally Rimer of Leduc (formerly of Warburg) passed away peacefully on September 7, 2020 (age 87) at the Leduc Hospital with his loving wife and son by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eileen (nee Sader), son Russell (Christine), sisters Lilly Rimer and Olinda Glasspoole, sisters-in-law Joan and Ellie, numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Maria and his older brothers Arthur and Bert.
Cremation has taken place, and due to the COVID-19 health guidelines, a Celebration of Life is being planned and will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of our dearly loved husband and father may be sent to charity of choice, or Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta & Northwest Territories, #306, 10430 – 61 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 2J3, or Leduc Hospital Foundation, 4210 – 48 Street, Leduc, AB T9E 5Z3.
The family wishes to express its sincere gratitude to the wonderful and caring doctors, nurses, and receptionists at the Leduc Hospital (and in particular the Emergency Department and Unit 21) who treated Wally and his family members with the greatest degree of respect and dignity during Wally’s final days.
