Riley Cooper 1950 2020

Obituary of Riley Cooper
On January 13, 2020, Riley Cooper, a.k.a Coop, Papa, Daddy, or Santa Claus, snuck away into the next life while his children were asleep beside him. He now watches over his wife, Mary Cooper, his 3 children, Richard, Nathan and Jennifer, their spouses and his beloved grandchildren, as well as all the sons and daughters he collected through his life that proudly called him Papa. He was born November 26, 1950 in Pickle Crow, Ontario and had many jobs but his true life’s work was to bring comfort, love, humour and generosity to everyone that crossed his path. He will be remembered for his dad hugs, his love of driving (anyone, anytime and any distance), his ability to fall into fires and not spill his Keith’s, and the way he could be anyone’s best friend in less than 5 minutes. He lived a life filled with spontaneity, adventure and most importantly, love. Friends, family and adopted family can join us for one last party with Coop on Saturday January 25th, 2020 at the Dymond Hall from 3pm to 6pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital Palliative Care room care of The Temiskaming Hospital, 421 Shepherdson Road, Suite 812, New Liskeard, ON P0J 1P0.
