King, Rick
It is with surprise and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rick King, 68 years old. Rick passed on Dec 2, 2020 at Health Sciences North. Our rock star to the very end.
Rick was true to his passion of music and cars, but he bared no greater passion than his devotion to the love of his life, Janie, married 47 years.
Survived by his wife Janie (nee Stewart), and his children Jody (Marcy), Casey (Dave), and Haley (Travis). Rick was also a proud grandpa to Hendrix, Harper, Jack, Trent and Ethan. He will also be remembered by his extended Stewart family. Predeceased by his parents, Marjorie and William King, as well as his brother Michael and sister Patricia.
He always shared his love for music with his family and friends, and we will continue to honour his legacy.
Rick has now taken the stairway to heaven, to strawberry fields forever.
There will be no service, per Rick’s wishes.
