Richard Joseph Gambin
1971-2020
December 20, 1971 –
June 28, 2020
It is with broken hearts the family of Richard (Rick) Joseph
Gambin of Ferndale, Placentia announce his sudden passing on June 28,
2020 at Jerseyside, Placentia, at the age of
48.
Rick will be missed everyday by his parents Leo and Julia;
brother Corey (Renee Cooney); sister Mary Lynn (David Pearson); his
special and precious sister Suzanne; precious niece Katelyn Gambin;
his loving aunts, uncles and cousins; family friend Diane Cheeseman;
and many many more great friends.
Predeceased by his loving grandparents Cornelius and Florence
Gambin of Jerseyside, and Thomas and Johanna Ryan of Southern
Harbour.
Our most beloved son, brother, family member and
friend. A unique kind-hearted soul. Rick was very
funny and enjoyed tormenting, carrying on and joking around with
everyone. He was a true friend to his friends – ready and
willing at a moment’s notice to help in any
way.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral Home,
Placentia. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health
Emergency, a private family visitation and Mass of Christian Burial
will take place.
Please sign the online guestbook to offer your condolences at
this time.
We LOVE and MISS
you dearly. XOXO
