Richard Joseph Dierker passed away quietly on November 9, 2020at the age of 88 years. Richard was born October 25, 1932 in Cudworth, SK. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his three children, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Janice Tamke of Saskatoon, SK and children Lorisa and Alyssa, Yvonne (Mike) Spielmacher of Trenton, ON and children Samantha (Allen), Krysta (Matt), Natasha (Steve) & David, Vincent (Tammy) Dierker of Cudworth, SK and children Devin, Meaghan & Quinten; his brothers and sisters: Magdalene Etayo, Joe (Louise Rochan), Denis (Marianne), Rose Marie (Maurice) Stadnyk, Agnes (Nick) Zuback, Jane (Bill) Simington, Francis (Debbie) & Raymond (Jean); his sister-in-law Charlotte Dierker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Richard was predeceased by,
his parents Anton & Rose (Medernach) Dierker, his wife Yolande (Savidan), his son Michel, his brother Edwin Dierker, his sister Margaret Capeling and his brother-in-law Jesse Etayo. A Prayer Vigil was held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Both Services were held at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Cudworth, SK with Rev. Fr. Colin Roy as celebrant. Interment followed at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations ibn memory of Richard may be directed to the Cudworth Knights of Columbus. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 206-233-4403.
