Rene Proulx 2020

PROULX, Rene
It is with great sadness that the family announces his peaceful passing at home on February 4th, 2020 at the age of 69 years. Loving husband of 48 years to Bonnie Lee Proulx (née Skinner). Beloved father to Donovan Proulx (Lisa). Cherished grandpa to Kaitlyn Proulx (Reid McCann) and Katrina Proulx (Maxim Marchand) and great-grandpa to Olan McCann. Brother to Annette Boucher (late Claude), late Edouard Proulx (Adele) and late Donat Proulx (Berthe). Brother in-law to Michael Avery (Marilyn), late Charles Turner (Denice), Michael Skinner (Judy), Ann Lamondin (Bruce), Charlaine Skinner-Stahan (late Gerry), Charles Skinner Jr. (Janice), John Skinner, Ashton Borg (Wes) and Alida Johnston (Rob). He will be sadly missed and always remembered by his special friend Louella Hess, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A gentle and generous man who deeply loved his family, friends and past co-workers. Rene touched the lives of many people and left a profound impact on the ones that he helped. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Candice Walton, the nurses, PSW’s and the many health care providers for the wonderful care Rene received. A celebration of his life will be held during the summer. Donations can be made to the Maison McCulloch Hospice by cheque or online. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
