WHITNEY, Rejeanne (Jean) – Mrs. Rejeanne Adrienne Whitney (née Paré) peacefully at the Janet MacDonnell Pavilion on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Brent Whitney. Dear daughter of the late Jean and Rose Aimée (Gauvreau) Paré. Loving mother of Dayle Whitney and Murray Whitney (Lise) from Orleans. Cherished grandmother of Chadd Whitney, Carey Whitney (Nadine), and Lisa Whitney (Orleans) and great-grandmother of Lawrence. Predeceased by her siblings Jean Paré, Aimé Paré (Myna), Thérèse Guild (Lee), Jacqueline Ranger (Raoul), Françoise Jamieson (Howard), Gilberte (Gibby) Hart (Russell), Bert Paré (Ruby) and Gilbert Paré. In keeping with Rejeanne’s wishes cremation has taken place, memorial will take place at a later date at the St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery in Long Sault. If so desired Memorial Donation to the Alzheimer Society Cornwall & District or the Janet MacDonnell Pavillion would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to the Cornwall Paramedics, CCH Emergency and excellent compassionate care from the Nursing staff at the JMP Palliative Care Wing. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
