Obituary of Réjane Dagenais
Réjane passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Thursday, March 26, 2020 in Mansfield, Quebec, at the age of 78 years. Daughter of late Donel Dagenais & late Florida Paquette. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Rivet, son Patrick Rivet (Connie Ethier), brothers Gilbert (Liz Ethier) & Simon (Gail May) and many other close friends & family.
She will be truly missed by her loving children; Bob Rivet (Melanie Greer) and Gail Rivet (Bob Giroux) and cherished grandchildren; Michael Rivet (Scott Voldock), Tiffany Rivet, Pat Rivet, Louis Giroux, Holly Rivet, her aunt Adrienne D. Kenney and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
She was a loving kind soul. She loved driving, shopping, listening to old country music, sewing, quilting and especially cooking! She enjoyed walking, at times, bicycling, fishing and spending time with her loved ones, friends and her favorite dog Mindy. Oh! she loved to watch John Wayne movies and Young and The Restless.
In memory of Réjane, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Foundation du manoir Sacré-Coeur in Mansfield, Quebec. A funeral mass followed by burial will be announced at a later date. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the Pontiac Community Hospital and especially the manoir Sacré-Coeur for their compassion and care.
We are without our beautiful loving mother now!
Even though she’s gone, we know that her legacy
will live on in all of us!
She was an incredible teacher and mother who
inspired everyone who knew her!
Her love is still our guide although we cannot see
her and she’s always at our side!
The sand of time will never wash away the love
that we have for our beautiful mother!
Mom! your memory will live on in all
of our hearts forever! We love you so dearly!
