Reginald Alexander “Reg” Haggarty
September 3, 1928 – August 21, 2020
In his home with his family at his side, Reg Haggarty passed away on Friday August 21, 2020 at the age of 91.
Beloved husband of Elva Haggarty (nee Gibson) and loved father of Lori (Roger Powell) of Trenton, Daryl of Belleville and Wayne (Catherine) of Courtice. Proud grandfather of Aaron (Cara), Nathanael (Candace), Jordan (Jessica), Keiran, Sage and Kalen and great grandfather of Kaylem, Emery, Aubrey and Kali. Reg was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Hazel Closson, Lila Wannamaker, Gerald (Arlie), Carl (Acilene) and Dorothy Jewell.
Mr. Haggarty is resting at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main St., Picton. Family Funeral Service in Prince Edward County Free Methodist Church with Pastors Kevin Stenhouse and Carl Bull officiating. Interment Quaker Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by calling 613-476-2450 and a mask must be worn.
Memorial donations to the PECMH Foundation ‘Back the Build’ or Prince Edward County Free Methodist Church would be appreciated.
