Raymond Yerxa
1941-2020
Yerxa, Raymond Donald – 78,
Indian Point, Mahone Bay, passed away peacefully with his family by
his side on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Ray is survived by his beloved
wife of 55 years, Carol-Ann; his children, Tracy, Angela (Mark), and
Jocelyn; along with three grandsons, JG, Noah and Jakob. Ray was the
only surviving child of the late Don and Dot (Thomas) Yerxa of
Drummond Court. Ray was a talented entrepreneur who worked hard.
Starting his own business in the early 1970’s, Ray had a
very successful career. He would like to thank all his former
employees for their hard work and dedication. He retired early and he
and Carol-Ann enjoyed a long retirement of winters in Florida and
summers in beautiful Indian Point. During his life, he was an avid
skeet shooter, skier, tennis and squash player, golfer, fly fisherman
on the Miramichi River, and reader. In Ray’s own words, he
lived a good, long life and he was happy to leave in peace. Ray
enjoyed his life immensely. Ray leaves behind three special life-long
friends; Jim Davidson, Ralph Smith and Jack Waite. Ray would like to
thank all of the individuals who cared for him in the final stages of
his life. Please join his family to share your memories during
