It is with great sadness that we announce that Raymond Tony Zazzara passed away peacefully at Langley Hospice on October 8th at the age of 74 with his family by his side.
Raymond was born in 1946 in New Westminster. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Paulette, son Graham (Michelle), brothers Wayne & Pete (Tracy), sister Christine, grandchildren, nephews & extended family and friends.
After graduating high school, Ray pursued a career in engineering as a draftsman for 40+ years. He worked on many projects in the Vancouver area and all over the world. For many years he volunteered with Scouts Canada where he met some of his dearest friends. He also was an avid soccer fan and helped coach Grahams soccer team for over 5 years. His favorite team was Manchester United. Glory Glory Man United!
Ray was known for his humor, big laugh, free spirit and of course stubbornness. He enjoyed reading and travelling to Italy and spending time with family and friends.
Ray was predeceased by his father Gino, mother Rena and sister Jeanette .
We regret, because of Covid19, that we can only accommodate invited family and friends to Rays Celebration Of Life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
Celebration Of Life will take place on Friday, October 23rd at 1pm at the West Langley Hall located at : 9402 208 St, Langley City.
