Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Otis Hughes which occurred on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Charlotte County Hospital. He was born in Lepreau, NB, on July 17, 1935 to the late William and Suzanna (Cogswell) Hughes.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife Minnie and his children; Raymond “Jamie” (Joyce), Charles (Kimberley) and Edward (Jennifer). He is also survived by his brother Roy and will be missed by his grandchildren; Jeremy, Robbie, Celena, Adam, Shelby and Nick, great grandchildren; Zachery, Erin, Colin, Maya, Isaac, Mika, Braxton and Elijah and his great great granddaughter Aubrey.
In addition to his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his son William “Billy” and his sister in-law Beanie.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). The family will receive visitors at the home of Charles and Kimberley Hughes (11 Muriel Avenue, Saint John, NB, E2J 3G9) on Saturday, February 22, 2020 starting at 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations towards the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
