Obituary
Amyot, Raymond – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother Raymond Omer Amyot on May 7, 2020 in North Bay after a lengthy illness. He was born June 15, 1942 in Sudbury (Minnow Lake).
He was predeceased by his parents Maurice and Dorina Amyot and brothers Roland and Gerard. He is survived by sisters Yvette Corriveau (Jacques) of Belle River, ON and Colette Corbeil (Ed) of London, ON. Also survived by sisters-in-law Claire Amyot and Shirley Amyot.
He will be greatly missed by all his nieces and nephews.
Respecting his wishes, cremation arrangements are in the care of Hillside Funeral Services, North Bay. A special “Thank You” to Patrick Theoret and family/staff for showing such compassion and care.
The family would like to offer a “Special Thank You” to all the doctors, Alysia Loyer, Co-ordinator of LHIN, VON and Paramed who provided assistance to him during his illness. We want to express our utmost recognition to the staff “dream team” of Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay for their amazing care and loving support given to our dear brother. We will be forever grateful. In addition, a big “Thank You” to Paramedics “Kevin Ouellette and Paul Sweeney”. Very much appreciated.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be greatly appreciated for the compassion they gave to our brother “Ray”.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
