It is wilth saddened hearts that the family of Raymond DeNault of Smoky Lake, AB (formerly of Mallaig, AB) passed away on March 27, 2020 in Smoky Lake, AB at the age of 89 years. Raymond along with his father Marcel M. DeNault owned and operated the M. DeNault and Sons General Store, in Mallaig, AB, for over 60 years.
Raymond is lovingly survived by his wife of 58 years: Mederise DeNault of Smoky Lake, AB; three sons: Alain (A.J.) (Venise) DeNault of Edmonton, Alberta, Normand ( Jennifer) DeNault of Stony Plain, Alberta, Simon DeNault of Edmonton, Alberta; three grandchildren: Janelle DeNault of Stony Plain, Alberta, Jacob DeNault of Stony Plain, Alberta, Madison DeNault of Stony Plain, Alberta; three brothers: Valmont (Luella) DeNault of Calgary, Alberta, Richard ( Mary) DeNault of Calgary, Alberta, Gerard “Gerry” (Leona) DeNault of Calgary, Alberta; sister: Lorraine (Ted) Caldwell of Edmonton, Alberta.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents: Marcel & Laurette DeNault.
Service of Remembrance , Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, Mallaig, AB. Cremation has taken place. Final resting place, St. Jean de Brebeuf Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mallaig, AB.
