Rayford P. Graham
1928-2020
“Remember me with a smile”
Rayford Paul Graham passed away peacefully, July 5, 2020 at River View
Manor, Bath NB. Born in Springfield West, PEI, August 18, 1928 the son
of the late Harry and Eliza (Buchanan) Graham. He lived and worked in
Tracey Mills, Centreville and Stickney, NB. He was the last remaining
member of his family. Predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years,
Eileena (Haines) Graham and 1 son, Paul.
He leaves to mourn a daughter, Gail (Charles) Ebbett,
“special” daughters, Patricia (Ed) Dawsoyar, Carol (Brian)
Manion and their families; sister in law Ella Graham and numerous
treasured friends, cousins, nieces and nephews and their
families.
A man of Faith, he loved and lived life to the fullest, always
replying to how he was with “just a kickin”. An avid
fisherman and hunter, he loved being outside in nature, in all
seasons. There was nothing he liked better than a “cook-out”
and “boiling the kettle”. He was a friend to all and never
refused to lend a “helping” hand. He loved working with his
hands, and crafted many lovely wood pieces. He and Eileena entertained
often with family and friends, and the younger family members and
neighbor children had the benefit of sliding on Uncle Ray’s hill on
his home made sleds. (Usually with Uncle Ray on the sled with
them!)
When health issues made it unsafe for him to live in his home, he
became a part of the River View Manor family- a Dad or Granddad to the
staff. We wish to thank all the staff and volunteers for giving such
loving compassionate care. Thank you to doctors Clay Marco
(pre-Manor) and Bruce Lockhart (Manor doctor) for their counsel and
care.
In consideration of family and friends health and safety, there will
be no visitation or funeral . A private family interment will be at
the Tracey Mills United Baptist Cemetery. A memorial gathering to
celebrate his life will take place at a later date. Flowers are
gratefully declined, but anyone wishing to do so may make a donation
in his memory to :
