Obituary of Ralph W. Deering
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, November 1, 2020, Ralph W. Deering of Victoria, age 61 years.
Predeceased by father: Arthur; brother-in-law: Barry Butt, nephews: Brent Butt and Matthew Hiscock, mother-in-law: Ina Lavallee and brother-in-law: Eric Lavallee.
Leaving to mourn, spouse: Elizabeth Lavallee; two daughters: Melissa (Ryan), Victoria and Janie (Justin), Salmon Cove, and their mother: Minnie Deering, Carbonear; step-daughter: Wanda (Wayne) Reashore, Fort McMurray, AB; five grandchildren: Macie, Leah, Lily, Luke, and Logan; two step-grandchildren: Brody and Brandon; mother: Effie, Victoria; brothers and sisters: Brenda (Barry, deceased) Butt, Edmonton, AB, Robert (Jackie), Fort McMurray, Frank (Christine), Bay Roberts, Avora (Ed) Penney and Kim (Greg) Hagey, both of Victoria, Charlie (Cory), Carbonear; father-in-law: Gideon Lavallee and brothers-in-law: Keith (Tonya) Lavallee, David (Mary) Lavallee, and Craig (Karen) Lavallee, all of Corner Brook; close friend: Larry King, Victoria; fur buddy and companion: Lucky; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service at the United Church, Victoria, by invitation only. Cremation to follow, with interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria.
