Ralph R. Goodwin
1945-2020
It is with great sadness that we
announce the passing of Ralph Ronald
Goodwin, 75, at the Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin,
NB, on Friday June 12, 2020 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s
Disease. Born in Little Shemogue, NB, Ralph was a son of the
late George and Dora (Anderson) Goodwin.
Ralph enjoyed farming and working
outdoors. He worked with various fish processing plants in the area
until he was forced to retire due to his illness. He also liked to go
shopping with his wife, Kathy. Ralph was a dedicated and loving
husband.
Ralph is survived by wife of 30 years,
Kathy (nee Lewis), of Baie Verte, NB.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by his two brothers, Bliss (Jeanette) and Owen (Rose)
Goodwin.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Jones Funeral
Home, Port Elgin and Sackville, NB (506-364-1300).
Honouring Ralph’s wishes, there is to be no services or
visitation.
For those who wish to do so, donations
towards helping with funeral expenses would be appreciated by the
family.
