Obituary of Rachel Grace Carnegie
Carnegie: Rachel Grace
A resident of Ridgetown, Rachel Carnegie passed away at the London Health Science Centre, University Hospital on Tuesday November 24 at the age of 24.
Throughout her 8-year battle, Rachel will be remembered for her courage, ‘cracking wit’, her sense of humour and her love for life.
Rachel is survived by her loving father Dennis (late Tori) Carnegie of Ridgetown and her protective brothers Aidan and Douglas.
Loving granddaughter to Dennis and Sandra Carnegie and Edward and Claire Hainer.
Special niece to Cassie and Mark Monden and Heather Hainer and Brian Wardell.
God daughter to Allen (late Betty) Ure.
Big sister who has been a special part of Rachel’s life, Karolyn Ure.
Rachel enjoyed horseback riding with Aunt Cassie and their extended horse family.
Rachel will be missed for her participation and mentorship in many 4H groups.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be determined in the Spring of 2021 on a date to be confirmed.
Donations made in memory of Rachel can be made to Child Can or 4H Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
