Qia Li
LI, Qia- Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday July 14th, 2020 at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Liu Liu Li for 60 years. He was the dearly loved father of Dan Hong Zhao (Can Zhang Zhao), King Kun Lee (Hui Fong) and Bing Hong Li- Tung (Check Ling Tung). Qia came to Canada in 1991 and worked at the Family Restaurant, Gourmet Garden in Fort Erie for 10 years. Qia worked very hard to provide a future for his Family after leaving China. Qia’s main focus in life was his Family. He Cherished every moment spent with them. Qia’s Grandchildren Paul Zhao, Rebecca Zhao, Sandra Lee, William Lee, Jessica Tung, Kristin Tung, Vanessa Tung and Henry Tung filled up his life with lots of love and laughter Every day. He will be greatly missed by Everyone.
Qia is resting at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street where a private visitation and service will take place. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Under current conditions, laws have been set in place that regulate the number of visitors allowed in the funeral home at a given time.
