Plourd Carolyn May 27 1955

CAROLYN PLOURD passed away peacefully in her sleep at Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the age of 64 years.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Daniel (Rachel) of Lethbridge, Vincent (Chasity) of Edmonton, and Layne (Ashley) of Lethbridge; her grandson, Kayden; her brother, Phillip Malkas-Lydie of France; her sisters, Melissa Malkas, Cecelia Russell, and mother Irma Malkas, all of Lethbridge; as well as several nieces and nephews, her dog, Saidi, and her cats, Degu and Felix.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Trevor Plourd.

Carolyn was a compassionate, thoughtful, and honourable woman who loved her family and furry companions. She had a wonderful personality—always full of laughter and the joy of life. Carolyn and Trevor were married on August 3, 1974, and the couple spent 41 years of love and laughter together until Trevor’s passing in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoyed cross-stitching and working on puzzles. She became a second mother to many children in Coalhurst who grew up and played with her children.

Her brightness and humour remained with her to the end. Her quiet courage, strength of spirit, creativity, and sense of humour will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her.

At Carolyn’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Plourd Carolyn May 27 1955..
