Pierre Pete Normandeau 1953 2020

Obituary of Pierre “Pete” Normandeau
It is with heavy hearts that we announced the passing of Pierre Normandeau of Campbell’s Bay, Quebec on Friday, May 22, 2020 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 29 years to Barb Sparling. Son of late Dollard Normandeau and late Eva Lamothe. Loving father of Natalie (Roch), Josée (Steve), Martin (Tiffany) and step daughter, Sara (Dave). Pierre was a proud grandfather of his six grandchildren; Jessica, Alexia, Johnathon, Brooklyn, Jaxson and Onyx. Brother of Oscar (Liz), Suzanne (Taylor) and Huguette (Paul). Predeceased by his niece Roxanne. He will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews, extended family (Jeff and Jamie Belland) as well as family and friends.
Pete could be an expressive man of many words but also, a man of few words. He worked for the MTQ for over 35 years. Most recently, he worked as a snow plow operator at Doug Zacharias trucking. He was a hard working man, who loved the outdoors. He was very passionate about his music and loved playing bass in the band Black River. He did not always have a smile on his face but he would give the shirt off his back to anyone he cared for in need. A funeral service will be held at a later date. In memory of Pierre, donations to the Bouffe Pontiac, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec would be greatly appreciated.
This isn’t goodbye, as we will all meet again someday. Until then we love you Pete and we will miss you everyday. Xox
I’m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round,
I really love to watch them roll,
No longer ridin’ on the merry-go-round,
I just had to let it go.
