The death of Phyllis McKibbon Hare Hamilton, of Boom Road, NB, occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Alexia (Forsythe) Sherrard. Phyllis was a life member Miramichi Hospital Auxillary, long time hospital volunteer, Member of St. Stephen’s United Church and UCW, Red Bank.
Phyllis is survived by: one daughter: Lynn Huskins (Laurie) of Calgary, AB; two sons: Wayne (Nora Ann) of Kamloops, BC and Bob McKibbon (Julie) of Sunny Corner, NB; one brother: Clark Sherrard (Charlotte) of Campbellton, NB; grandchildren: Derrick McKibbon of Sunny Corner, NB; Nancy (Greg Thomson) of Medfield, Mass; Craig McKibbon (Christine) of Kamloops, BC; Connor Huskins of Calgary, AB; Krista Dainard of Calgary, AB; great grandchildren: Brock, Eva and Wesley Thomson and Quinn and Wyatt McKibbon; Brooklyn Dainard and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Phyllis is predeceased by: her husbands: Sterling McKibbon, Earl Hare Sr. and Ralph Hamilton; grandson: Scott McKibbon; sisters: Margarett Beattie (Bill); Lillian McNeil (Boyd); brothers: Byron, Donald and Harold Sherrard.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private family service.
Burial will take place in the St. Stephen’s United Church Cemetery, Red Bank, at a later time.
