Phyllis Jean Holden March 30 2020

Passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020, in the presence of her loving husband and children, at St. Clare’s Hospital, St. John’s, Phyllis “Jean” Holden, age 77 years. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Grace Dawe of Coley’s Point, precious daughter, Angela (1976) and nephew Robert Bradbury (1990).
Leaving to mourn and remember her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and warm memories, her husband of 51 years, William (Bill) Holden; son Steven (Tanya); daughters Sharon (Wes) Tucker, and Susan (Robert) Greening; grandsons Carter, Samuel and Austin; sister Mary Tucker; nieces Judy, Patsy (Dean Cull) and Karin (Kim Dodge); also many other special family and friends that Jean treasured and loved dearly.
Special thank you to the doctors and nurses on 7East of St. Clare’s Hospital for their special care and Dr. Powell & staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place. Due to the current Public Health Advisory concerning COVID-19, visitation and funeral service details will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation and/or the NL Heart and Stroke Foundation.
