Eastcott – Phyllis Cecil May Eastcott (nee Hyde) Jan 17, 1922 – Nov 16, 2020; passed away peacefully with family at her side on Nov 16, 2020, in the Riverdale Personal Care Home. She was one of the last living female Metis army vets from WWII.

She met and later married her husband Wilton (Slim) Eastcott (1947-2012) when they were stationed in Portage La Prairie, a Rehab Hospital for returning vets.
