Phyllis G Green 19312020

Phyllis G. Green
1931-2020
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,
Summerside, on Sunday, September 6th, 2020, of
Phyllis Georgee (Reeves) Green, formerly of Central Bedeque, age 88.
Daughter of the late Edgar and Hilda (Francis) Reeves. Predeceased
(June 10, 2020) by her husband Sydney Green. Survived by loving
children Charlene (John) Wright and David (Kim) Green. Grandmother of
Caitlin, Erin, Jared, Colin and Ryan; great grandmother of Ella,
Bennett, Hank, Hazel and Winston. Also survived by sisters Kay
(Alfred) Baglole, Wave (late Lorne) Platts, brother in law Alexander
Green, friend Bill Williamson, and sister in law Elizabeth (late Ian)
MacFarlane. Phyllis will also be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews,
and extended family and friends.
Phyllis had a love of children, which not only influenced her
career path as a teacher, but translated into her home life,
where the door was always open to both new and familiar faces. She was
a firm believer in full tables and second helpings. Always a stylish
lady, Phyllis enjoyed dressing up for family outings. As much as she
loved reminiscing about “the good old days”, she was a
progressive thinker and keenly aware of current issues.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington. A private,
joint memorial service will be held for Phyllis and Sydney and will be
available to watch online after 10 a.m. Saturday September
12th. If desired, memorial donations may be
made to the Prince County Hospital Foundation in appreciation of the
compassionate care provided.
