It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our family’s matriarch, Phyllis Freeman, on Monday, November 9, 2020, at the age of ninety-nine. Beloved wife of the late Seymour. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Jim Block, Charlotte and Jack Berkovits. Proud grandmother of Michael Block (Sandra), David Block (Kim), Eden DesRoches (Darryl), Cara Berkovits. Cherished great-grandmother of Sarah, Naomi, Nathan, Andrew, Jordan, Leah, Alexandria, Tyler, Oliver and Jonah. Loving sister and sister in-law of the late Selma and the late Arthur Lubell. A private graveside service will take place.
