Phillip Murray Charles Fleet 2020

Obituary of Phillip Murray Charles Fleet
Age 66, passed away suddenly at home on June 3, 2020. Born in Ecum Secum NS on January 4, 1954 to Betty (Veinotte) Fleet and the late Murray Fleet. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Darla (Lowe) and by his daughters, Rachael (Jason Braun) Grand Prairie, AB. ; Lindsay Anne (Colin Oxenhan) Vancouver, BC.; son Ryan (Claire Grenier) Fall River, NS and for the newest member of the family, his first grandchild, Jackson Connor Fleet whom he adored; sisters, Elizabeth (Jim Bernard) Ecum Secum, NS; and Carolyn Fleet, Middle Sackville, NS and many nieces and nephews. Phillip was a contractor for most of his life; he worked for a number of local building companies and could be counted on as a handyman to many, including his family and friends. He loved to dance and was admired by many for his natural rhythm. When he wasn’t on the dance floor, his leisure time was spent playing baseball, coaching Ryan’s little league team and playing hockey. He spent many years on a bowling team and most recently played league darts. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards with friends, golfing, and the great outdoors. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Crowell’s Funeral Home and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be directed to www.crowellsfuneralhome.ca
