Member, Stirling & Trenton Citizen’s Band (“Saxy Pete”) –
Suddenly entered into rest on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 at his home. Peter Beattie of Belleville, formerly of Foxboro died at the age of 79. He was the cherished husband of the late Henrietta (nee Davidson). Peter was the loving father of Kendal and Daniel (Christena), all of Belleville and the grandfather of Jaiden Barber and Addison Mae Beattie-Crowe. He is predeceased by his brother Ross Beattie and his sister Pat Matthews. Peter is survived by his sister-in-law Rev. Elaine Beattie of Guelph and by his cousin Blake Matthews of Timmins.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
