Obituary for
Peter Frank Nickel
On April 23, 2020, Peter Frank Nickel of Mayerthorpe, AB, passed away at the age of 96 years.
Peter is survived by his children, Lynne of Calgary, AB, Patrick (Kayla Fagg) of Kamloops, BC and Lorna (Peter Sheen) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Michael and Meagan; and brother Hank (Edna) of Williams Lake, BC. Predeceased by his wife, Elsie (2015); son, Timothy; daughter-in-law, Carla; and ten brothers and sisters.
Thank you to the staff of Pleasant View Lodge and doctors and staff of the Mayerthorpe Healthcare Centre for the care and support shown to Peter and the family.
Honouring Peter’s request, no ceremony will be held. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT, #306, 10430 – 61 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 2J3.
