Peggy’s Obituary
SMITH, Peggy Ann (Stuart) – 74, Meteghan formerly of North East Harbour passed away peacefully at La Villa Acadienne in Meteghan on Tuesday April 7th. Born June, 29th, 1945, Peggy was a daughter of the late George and Josephine Stuart. She loved music and played the piano in her younger years. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family and treasured the memories of the time spent with her late husband Leo. She enjoyed a very simple and happy life. A special thanks has been requested for the staff of La Villa Acadienne for their compassion and wonderful care during her time with them. Peggy is survived by sons; Tony (Cynthia),Troy, Trevor and sister Rowena Smith. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leo Charles Smith. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Shelburne. Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic a private graveside service will be held in her honor. Donations in her name may be made to a charity of choice. Friends and extended family are asked to send your stories and condolences to the family on our website at www.huskilson.net
