It is with heavy hearts that the family of the Late Pearl McLean announce her passing, with her loving family by her side, on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 85 years. She will be forever missed and loved by her children: Libby (Frank Hines), Sandra, Doris (Robert Curnew), Valerie (George Bullen), Raymond (Dinah), Terry (Catherine), Ricky (Valerie), Glenda (Paul Hartigan), Allan (Joyce), Dean (Eleanor), Wendy (Quentin Giles), Kelly (Leslie Bennett); 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters: Ada (John Hickey), Palma Shears; brother: Raymond (Marley) French, Ron (Maureen) French as well as many nieces, nephews other family and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband Delphie McLean; parents Nora & Edward French; sisters: Mary McLean, Elva Hulan and brother Charlie French. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the Staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for their exceptional care of their mom during her illness. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 14, 2020 between the hours of 7 – 9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West St., Stephenville Crossing, NL. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s, NL with The Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Inurnment in the church cemetery will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
