Passed peacefully away at the Bonavista Hospital on September 15, 2020, Pearl Mouland, at the age of 93 years, 7 month, with family members at her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Winston (1982), her parents William & Rebecca (Coles) Tremblett, and her sister, Florence and brother, Wilson.
Leaving to mourn are her children, Harrison (Elsie), Elaine (Gary), Dennis (Loretta), Arthur (Heather), Florence (Roy Street), Joy, (Howard Butler) Paul (Violet) and grandchildren, Craig Mouland and Melendy (Neil Brine) (children of Elaine) who grew up in the same household. She also leaves her grandchildren Amanda Mouland, Bradley Mouland, David Mouland, Michael Mouland, Luke Mouland, Dawn Street, Steven Butler, Alison Snelgrove, Keshia Forsythe, Kaylin Mouland as well as 15 great grandchildren.
Pearl trained as a Salvation Army officer in the Warriors Session of cadets in 1946 and served several years in various Corps in Newfoundland before returning to her hometown of Bonavista. She continued as a long time member of the Salvation Army and was a Girl Guide troop leader many years, and Member of the songsters until she was unable to attend.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and many friends whom she loved to chat with on the phone when she could not get out.
