Obituary for
Pauline Martin
We regret to announce the death of Pauline Martin on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 87. Pauline enjoyed swimming, cross-country skiing, walking, knitting, travelling, and reading. She was a member of the Kapuskasing Community Church and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her husband Harry; two sons: James (Céline) of Moonbeam and Thomas (Vera) of Maarssen; one daughter-in-law, Judy of Waterloo; one brother-in-law, Robert Lambert of Toronto; three grandchildren: Samantha, Michael and Meghan; four great-grandchildren: Kate, Mason, Adyson and Tyler; as well as three nieces: Gwen, Gayle and Christine. She was predeceased by her son, Robert; and her siblings: Eileen Lambert and Gordon McConnell. Due to circumstances related to COVID-19 a private funeral service was held for members of her immediate family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Extendicare Kapuskasing Residents’ Fund or the Kapuskasing Community Church would be greatly appreciated. ©
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Pauline Martin le mercredi 6 mai, 2020, au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l’âge de 87 ans. Pauline aimait faire du ski de fond, de la marche, tricoter, voyager et la lecture. Elle fut membre de l’église Kapuskasing Community Church et bénévole pour la popote roulante. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Harry; deux fils : James (Céline) de Moonbeam et Thomas (Vera) de Marrssen; une belle-fille, Judy de Waterloo; un beau-frère, Robert Lambert de Toronto; trois petits-enfants : Samantha, Michael et Meghan; quatre arrière-petits-enfants : Kate, Mason, Adyson et Tyler; ainsi que trois nièces : Gwen, Gayle et Christine. Elle fut prédécédée par un fils, Robert; une sœur, Eileen Lambert; et un frère, Gordon McConnell. En raison des circonstances liées à la COVIDE-19, un service funéraire privé a eu lieu en présence des membres de sa famille immédiate. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résidents du Foyer Extendicare ou à l’église Kapuskasing Community Church. ©
