Obituary of Pauline “Nannie” Marion Fraser
FRASER, Pauline Marion – It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Marion Fraser, age 87 of Hebbville, announces her passing on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Born in Oakhill, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Wagner.
Pauline, also known as “Nannie” enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as spending time with family at home, baking, knitting, working in her flower gardens and sharing a cup of tea with family and friends. She was Nannie to all and always took care of everyone. Nannie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the golden thread of love spun invisibly through her family’s hearts and lives.
Pauline is survived by her children, Susan (Robert), Heather (Wayne), Stephen, and Heidi (Albert). Grandchildren, Kirk, Kristopher (Cindy), Natasha (Bashar), Ashley (Josh), Corey, Tiffany (Delroy), Nick (Kristen), and Cameron. Her sisters, Ruth and Diane, as well as several nieces and nephews and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton.
We would like to thank the staff at the South Shore Regional Hospital and Palliative Care.
In keeping with Nannie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where online condolences and messages may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore and Palliative Care of South Shore Regional Hospital.
“Nannie was an amazing woman who touched the lives of so many, we will miss her so much.”
