Passed peacefully in the presence of her loving sisters on Saturday, December 12th at the HSC, St. John’s, Paulette Mary Johnston in her 65th year. She now will be at peace with her parents, Kevin & Pearl Johnston; her baby brothers Kevie and Robert; grandparents, Felix and Blanche Johnston & Jerome and Catherine Hackett.
To share warm memories of her life she leaves behind daughters, Gerri -Lynn and Debbie; grandchildren, Olivia and Lucas; twin brother Paul (Peggy); brothers, Jerry (Debbie), Keith (Carol) & Cyril (Susan); sisters Marjorie (Glen), Colleen (Carl), & Lana (Wayne); special aunt, Marjorie (George ); special friend, Frank, and her many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of 3rd Floor East at Chancellor Park for caring for Paulette and to the nursing staff at 4 South A Health Science Complex in recent months for the exceptional care given to her.
Paulette was persistent and persevered through the many challenges that life presented to her. She was truly the living example of love and kindness. Her deep compassion and empathy together with her bright smile and love of people are some of her attributes that truly characterizes the beautiful and loving person we knew and dearly loved.
Due to current pandemic restrictions the family has decided to defer the service and interment to a later date so we can all gather safely to celebrate her life.
