Obituary of Paul Canniff
CANNIFF: Paul Stephen –
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Paul Canniff passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 71.
Born in Chatham, Paul was the son of the late Lyle and Doreen (Littlejohn) Canniff.
Dear father to Michael Canniff (Terri).
Brother to the late Brent Canniff (1996), Craig Canniff (Barb) of Kingsville, Kevin Canniff (Janet) of Dresden, Mark Canniff (Heather) of Chatham and Darrin Canniff (Christine) of Chatham-Kent.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Paul was the second generation owner/operator of Courtesy Cabs in Chatham, where he was blessed to work with many amazing people over the course of his career. He was an avid golfer and billiards player and participated in numerous tournaments across North America.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 10:00 am until 12:00pm. A reception will follow at McKinlay Reception Centre, 463 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Private family interment to be held at Arnold Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Paul to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
