TUER, Paul Vernon – Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Bluewater Health, Paul Vernon Tuer passed away at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Chris Tuer (McArdle) for 45 years. Loving father of Matt (Amy), Rob, and Mary-Ann. Cherished grandfather of Madison and Lily. Dear brother of Rick (Margo), Laurie Sealey, and Greg (Myra). Brother-in-law of Rick (Susie) McArdle and favourite brother-in-law of Jamie (Deb) McArdle. Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Lillian Tuer. Paul worked as an engineer for CN Rail for 34 years. He was Captain of the Juliet River Boat in Stratford and loved any excuse to be near the water. He enjoyed cruising the Caribbean, watching sunsets and playing games with his granddaughters. Paul loved cars and attending auto shows. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Special thanks to Dr. Joe Spano, Alberto Silva, and Sandra Thompson for their loving care over the past two months. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held at The Sarnia Yacht Club, 1220 Fort St, Point Edward, ON, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Wallflower Sanctuary www.wallflowersanctuary.org Arrangements entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
