PAUL PINSLER – Peacefully, on Sunday, July 12, 2020, in his eighty-second year. Beloved husband and best friend of Sheila Horwitz for fifty-seven years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Sherri and Philip Lieberman, and Marla Pinsler. Adored Zaydee of Brittany, Aidan, and Andrew. Devoted son of the late Sara and the late Alex Pinsler, and son-in-law of Ruth and the late Ben Horwitz. Much loved brother-in-law of Fran and Murray Krane. Brother of Robert Pinsler. Paul will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, Lorne, Carly, and Brianna Krane; Marcie, Mark, Mitch, and Brooke Fergenbaum, and by his many dear friends. Paul was a true gentleman with a zest for life, who could tell a great joke and always made everything fun. With his striking blue eyes, warm smile and quick wit, Paul was easy to talk to and helped many who sought his wise counsel. As an award-winning photographer, Paul’s creativity and his attention to detail allowed him to always appreciate the world around him. His passion for skiing and golf did not diminish when he was met with the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis. He continued to fully engage in all aspects of life with pride, perseverance, and grit. Of all the things that mattered to Paul, he was most passionate and devoted to his family and friends. Always making time for them, Paul was present and interested in everything they did. The family wishes to thank the incredible staff of 7D, 6C and the Palliative Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for treating Paul with the dignity and care that he so deserved. Donations in Paul’s memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation at my.crowdchange.co/jbpqx0 or by calling (514) 340-8251.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Paul Pinsler Sunday July 12 2020..
