Paul Joseph Peter Rioux passed away on Monday, Nov. 2, 2020. Paul was predeceased by his parents, François and Andrėe Rioux and seven brothers and sisters, Frank, Mary, Helen, Louis, Roger, Raymond, and Marcel. He is survived by his sister, Yvonne, and many nieces and nephews. Paul was born in 1942 in Mazenod, Sask. where from a young age, he helped on the family farm. In the early 60s, he moved to Vancouver, and later, Revelstoke and Golden, BC, and then in 1974 he moved to Penticton where he worked at the Lakeside Resort for 25 years until his retirement. He became a father figure to many in the family and also was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Flames, with a collection of hats, jackets, and other souvenirs.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends. His family appreciates the support and time given over the years by his niece and primary caregiver, Karen Murray, and the excellent care from the staff at Mountain View Village.
