Patsy Lee Pat Leicht Brayford Thursday October 1st 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Patsy Lee Leicht of Red Deer, Alberta at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the age of 66 years. Patsy was born on January 23, 1954, the second oldest child of Eileen and Frank Brayford. Patsy worked as a Surgical Processor at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, for over twenty-five years. She was well respected and loved, by all who knew her. Patsy loved parties and social gatherings, with family and friends. She always had a story to tell and everyone around her enjoyed the laughs. When Toni and Jan were younger, their house was the place to be; everyone was welcomed with open arms, advice and a full belly. She loved to cook, bake and entertain. Patsy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Toni (Jamie Lowe) and sons, Gabriel and A.J. and her son, Jan and his children, Michaela (Mark) and their son, Silas, and Lynaya and Jan Jr. Patsy will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Allan (Sharon), Betty (Glen) Mace, Bill (Angela), Jim (Bernice), Randy (Brenda) and Arnold; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, numerous extended family members and dear friends. Patsy was predeceased by her parents, Eileen and Frank Brayford. The family extends an extra special “Thank You” to Betty and Glen Mace for taking special care of Patsy and making her feel like a Queen for the last ten months; to allow her to live her last days to their fullest – the best she could. We could never Thank You enough. A Private Family Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta. The Service will be live streamed, with details to follow, for those unable to attend. If desired, Memorial Donations in Patsy’s honor may be made directly to Lupus Canada at www.lupuscanada.org. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com. Arrangements in care of Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer. 403.340.4040.
