Patricia “Sally”‘s Obituary
Jennings, Patricia “Sally” – 86, Masstown, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Eric and Alice (Aldred) Dexter. Sally was an avid volunteer during her life, serving at the Vimy Court Nursing Home, the Colchester Stroke Club, and enjoyed singing with the Happy Harmonies. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Gerald, daughters, Nancy (Tim) Winkler and Ann (Ken) Hansford, Upper North River; Susan (Chris) Vessey, Prince Edward Island; sons, Stephen (Brenda), Advocate; Michael and Jason, ON and her favourite cat, Tommy. Also remembered by 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, Jim; sister, Frances Creelman, and grandson, Jamie Gibbs. A special thank you to VON nursing, EMC team, CEHHC emergency and palliative teams. Donations may be made to the Colchester Stroke Club or the Masstown Cemetery. Cremation has taken place in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930).
