Patricia “Pat” Shea (nee Wall)
who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 just shy of her 90th birthday.
Beloved wife of Bernard Shea predeceased in 2012. Loving mother of Ted Shea (Sandy) of Petrolia, Brenda Labelle (Larry) of Sudbury, Wendy Bedard (Bob) of Garson, and Karen Gillis (Doug) of Leduc, Alberta. Grandmother of Jason, Pam (Brad), Kim, Jamie (Bree), Jodi (Dan), Derek (Michelle), Trevor (Lia) and Tara (Andrew). Great grandmother of Alyssa, Skyler, Riley, Paige, Caelen, Alex, Samantha, Zoe, Noah, Aiden, Jacob, Grace, Tristabelle, Tristan, Trent, Trayton and Evelyn & great great grandmother of Jamie. Predeceased by her parents Harold & Margaret Wall (nee Burke) and her brother Terry Wall. Survived by her sister Margo Hinds (Hearly predeceased) and brother Michael Wall (Carmen predeceased). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Pat was born in Iroquois Falls on September 18th, 1930, she married Bernard Shea in Iroquois Falls in 1948. Pat was employed as switch board operator and worked in the Safety Department at Falconbridge Nickel Mines for many years, retiring in May of 1990. She was a long-time member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Garson. A lifetime member of the Catholic Woman’s League. Pat enjoyed travelling and enjoyed her summers at the trailer at Stanley Park in Manitoulin Island.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing staff at Amberwood Suites for taking such good care of Pat, and also to the staff at Health Sciences North 4th floor North Tower for their care and compassion.

Burial alongside her husband in St. John’s Cemetery in Garson.
