Patricia Carmen Sabourin
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Loving wife of the late Leo Sabourin. Daughter of the late Rosario and Gracia (née Goulet) Roy. Loving mother of Paul (Lorrie), Louise, Linda (Eddie Jr.), Ray and Denise (André). Predeceased by her sister Gerry Dinchick and her brothers Fernie and Albert Roy. Beloved grandmother of Jennifer, Amanda, Tammy, Ryan, Olivia, Lea and great-grandmother of many great grandchildren. She is fondly remembered by many nieces & nephews. Patricia was a courageous woman as evidenced by her learning to swim in her 60’s, after a lifetime of fear of water. She enjoyed yoga at the YMCA where she & Leo first practiced together in retirement. She then continued for another 15 plus years of yoga classes once widowed. She started painting late into her 60’s leaving behind beautiful landscapes in watercolour, acrylic and oils. Christmas was her favorite holiday where she enjoyed decorating her home and was thrilled to shop for gifts for each and every person. A private funeral Mass will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
