On August 8, 2020, Mrs. Theresa Patenaude of Buffalo Lake passed away at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her children, Ernestine (Raymond), Shirley, Frances, Marjorie, Joey (Olga), Doris (Daniel), Gerald, Susie (Marvin), Helen, Marlene (Wilmer), Ruth (Besim), David, Jerry (Cheryl), Lee (Sam) & Keri; 76 grandchildren; 163 great-grandchildren; 62 great-great-grandchildren; brother, George (Dorothy). Mrs. Patenaude was predeceased by her husband, Harry; daughters, Eunice, Doreen, Florence & JoAnne; sons, Harold & Lawrence; daughters-in-law, Donna & Ida; sons-in-law, Jimmy, Wilfred, Peter & Charlie; brothers & sisters, John, Irvina, Lawrence, Ellen, Leona, Fred, Edgar, Felix, Oscar, Leonard & Harold. A Wake & Funeral will be held at Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, with interment in Buffalo Lake Community Cemetery, Buffalo Lake.
