Obituary of Owen Wycliffe Rendell
Passed peacefully away on April 17, 2020 in the presence of his family, Owen Wycliffe Rendell, at the CNRHC, at the age of 80 years.
Owen was born and raised in Bishop’s Falls and retired in 2005 from TRA in Grand Falls-Windsor.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Annie Rendel and sister Marilyn.
He leaves to mourn his wife Verna of 59 years; children: Lynette (Randy) Monks, Pete (Rhonda) Rendell, Wayne (Lana) Rendell, Laura (Brian) Pickford, Tracey (Lloyd) Bailey all of Bishop’s Falls.
Also left to mourn are his grandchildren: Kristen (Nathan), Jeff (Samantha), Terri-Lynn (Jake), Dale, Jenna, Brooke, Kaithlyn and Claire; one great-grandchild Ashton (the light of his life); brother: William of Calgary, AB; sisters: Effie Richard of Lethbridge, AB, Norma (Franklin) Clarke of Botwood, NL; special nephew Eugene (Diane) Dwyer, Corner Brook, NL.
Owen loved his cabin life with family and friends. The cabin was his happy place where any and all were welcomed.
Two of his good buddies, Wayne Green and Cecil Anderson will surely miss him.
Rest in peace now, dad, until we meet again.
Due to COVID-19 there will only be a private family visitation with burial at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Bishop’s Falls.
