Osborne Ossie Nowlan 2020

The death of Osborne “Ossie” Eugene Nowlan, husband of the late Nina (Johnston) Nowlan, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the 72. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Lorne and Ethel (MacKay) Nowlan. Ossie attended The Point Church, Chatham, NB, worked in Sales at many jobs over the years, was a member of the Miramichi Sportsman’s Club and loved to Fish and Golf.
Ossie is survived by: two sons: Kyle Nowlan (Sharon) of Iqaluit, NU; Keith Somers (Corina) of Chatham, NB; one daughter: Penny Smith of Chatham, NB; two sisters: Doris Brown of Moncton, NB; Linda McAllister (Kenny) of Grand Lake, NB; one brother: Laurie Nowlan of Miramichi, NB; nine grandchildren: Derek, Lisa, Kandise, Joey, Holly, Cody, Kayla, Nicole and Cassandra; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife: Nina, Ossie is predeceased by: brothers: Billy and Edward; son-in-law: Garth Smith and great grandson: Landon Somers.
The family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral Home on Friday from 3-7 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2 PM with Rev. Kevin Matthews officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery later in the spring.
