Orville Woodruff, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Heart Institute in Ottawa, Ontario. Dearly missed by his loving wife Barbara. Predeceased by his parents William and Edna Woodruff (née Deavy), sisters Louise, Dorothy, Doreen and brothers Edward, Donald, Jimmy, and Brian. Orville will be fondly remembered by his brother Allan (Barbara), sister Marion (Roger), sister-in-law Gail and brother-in-law Stan. Sadly missed by his nephew Brad Parks (Janet) and Grandnephew Brennan.
Orville was a retired district fire chief from the Nepean Fire Department with 34 years of service. The family would like to give a big thank you to the Critical Care Unit at the Ottawa Heart Institute for their compassionate care. For those wishing, a donation made in Orville’s memory to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
