Olga Pawluk Kezama January 10th 2020

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved mother Olga Pawluk (nee Kezema) on Friday, January 10, 2020.
Olga was born on March 14, 1930 in Kelliher, Saskatchewan area; she moved to Regina in 1961 and remained there until her passing. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Ron Olynick; parents Mary and George; brothers Eddie, Bill, Wally and Harold; and her sister Doris. She is survived by her 6 daughters Judy, Bev (Sal), Eileen (Del), Angie, Sandy (Doug), and Sherry (Gian); as well as her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Tony (Rose), Don (Sue), Gerald, Paul, Brian and Ralph; her sisters Rose and Adeline (Ken); as well numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Our mom was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, proven by her selflessness and maternal warmth. She was also was quick-witted and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was an excellent home cook, and no matter what time of day we would visit she would always make something that was mouth-watering and to-die-for. She always made enough for us to take home, and made sure to give a plate to her neighbors. No one left hungry, especially when she made her world famous perogies. She was a calming force for us and we will miss her charming ways.
Mom could not sit still always doing something. She loved knitting, crocheting. crafts, word search puzzle, and cooking. You would never catch her without a smile.
Olga’s presence is fondly remembered as being a safe haven of constant laughter and unconditional love, and those memories will live on eternally in the hearts of all who knew her and mourn her passing.
In the end, Olga passed peacefully in her sleep while surrounded by her loving family; most specifically her 6 daughters, who are each a reflection of her, and will always remember their wonderful mother.
‘Our heart still aches in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know’
We miss you Mom ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Special thank you to Kim Burns and all her wonderful staff at Sunset Extendicare. The care you and your staff showed during our mom’s last days made things bearable. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
