Ole Lang 1951 2020

Obituary of Ole Lang
Ole Jakob Lang of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 68 years.
Born in Faxe, Denmark, at the age of six Ole immigrated to Canada with his mother, father and sister and spent his entire life in Calgary.
An honour student, a master electrician and a skilled carpenter, Ole worked with Scandia Electric Ltd. for many years before taking over his father’s construction business, H. W. Lang Interiors. With an inquisitive mind and always up for a challenge, Ole enjoyed disassembling anything electronic to see how it worked, then successfully putting it back together.
Ole is survived by Anne Lang, daughter Robyn, son Richard (Ayessa) all of southern Alberta and his sister Birthe Levie of Victoria, BC. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Graydon Sheardown, Jakob and Kayleigh Lang, Khim and Khaila Tersona. In Denmark, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his father Herluf “Willie” Lang (1994) and his mother Karen Ruth Lang (2015).
Ole’s family and friends are planning a memorial for a later time.
If desired, memorial tributes may be made directly to Calgary Health Trust, 800 – 11012 MacLeod Trail SE, Calgary, AB T2J 6A5, Telephone: 403-943-0615, www.calgaryhealthtrust.ca/our-causes/.
Very special thanks go to everyone at Carewest Signal Pointe for their support and the unlimited kindness they showed Ole during the last seven years of his life.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ole
